Kolumbien ist ein Land im nördlichen Teil Südamerikas, die Hauptstadt ist Bogotá. Das Land grenzt sowohl an den Pazifischen Ozean als auch an die Karibik. Die Gesamtfläche beträgt 1 138 910 km², die Einwohnerzahl liegt bei ca. 49 Mio. Projekte gibt es landesweit. Unsere ICYE-Partnerorganisation ist ICYE Colombia mit Sitz in Bogotá und besteht seit 1981.

Discover Kolumbien – Umwelt: Granja Escuela Agroecologica Mutualito
Ecological Project to train, educate and inform the population prioritizing children in ecological and environmental food issues. Perseverance is a neighborhood in the UPZ La Macarena, also located in the town of Santa Fe, in the capital of Colombia, Bogotá. It lies in the east of the city. It was founded in the early twentieth century as a working-class neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, which accompanied the development of Bavaria, a brewery in the nearby neighborhood of San Diego.
The main activities are: Source separation of organic and inorganic waste, processing and reuse them, making land and efficient microorganisms, planting native seeds, harvest after harvest of organic products, food processing
Location: La Preserseverancia, Carrera 1ª este 32-71, Bogotá
Volunteers tasks: Willingness to learn the activities and operations of the farm and bring in what you like best and feel good, to accompany the journeys we make to groups of visitors. Being a language teacher. Support and homework support for children and young people on the other day from school and linked to farm.
Volunteer requirements/Skills: Help and strengthening the language for children and young people participating in the farm. Support programs and projects developed in GAEM.
Volunteer’s working time: Mostly from Monday to Friday. Working hours are between 20 and 40 hours a week.

Discover Kolumbien – Community: Fundación de Asistencia Preventiva e Ilusión Social CARES
This Foundation was created to generate a process of support and comprehensive education in Los Martires. Los Martires is the 14th locality of Bogotá, capital of Colombia. It is located near the city’s downtown to its west. It takes its name in honor of those who died during the war for independence from Spain. It is completely urbanized, save for its parks and the banks of its rivers. Main activities of the project are to support training processes, community work, formulating the projects and administrative support.
Location: Cll. 15 No. 15 – 39 Barrio la Favorita – Loc. Los Mártires, Bogotá
Volunteer tasks: Accompanying the people living at the shelter, recreational activities, interacting with the surrounding community, support in searching for resources
Volunteer requirements/Skills: The volunteer should have the ability to resolve conflicts, be innovative, friendly, with a disposition to help others, respectful, creative, social and proactive.
Volunteer’s working time: Mostly from Monday to Friday. Working hours are between 20 and 40 hours a week.
